Abstract:
There are described peculiarities of carrying out of financial status analysis of food processing plants with the help of canonical correlations method. This method made possible to reveal influence of latent (underlying) factors on changing of some effective indices of assessment of financial status of the plants which are being investigated. This is in comparison of traditional correlation – regression analysis ( where there are being investigated influence of factors on one effective index of economic entity’s activity) makes possible to increase objectivity of analytical derivations as basis of management decisions making.
