Prospects for formation of cluster structure in the veterinary pharmacy of Ukraine

Abstract: The purpose of the article – to investigate the essence of the concept «cluster» and the structure of the introduction of cluster associations in the field of veterinary pharmacy of Ukraine. Research methodology. The studies used the methods of analysis and synthesis (analysis of scientific achievements of domestic and foreign scientists in relation to "clusterization"), monographic method (assessment of the current state of the veterinary pharmacy), calculation and constructive method (the proposal to construct a cluster model in the industry), as well as abstractlogical methods (generalization and formulation of conclusions). Research results. The classic examples of clusters in different countries are considered, and the prerequisites that can serve as the basis for creating a cluster structure in the field of veterinary pharmacy in Ukraine are analyzed. Elements of scientific novelty. The activity of production enterprises - members of the PA "Vetpromsvyzka" Association as an example of the creation of a veterinary pharmaceutical cluster has been analyzed. The definition of the concept "cluster" is proposed, taking into account peculiarities of the field of veterinary pharmacy. The need to stimulate innovation, the economic development of regions with cluster structures, the formation of a competitive environment on the market, the improvement of the state management of the branch of veterinary pharmacy, as well as the information system of the industry, provide the basis for research and the search for new approaches to solving these problems. Practical significance. The urgency and advantages of creating a cluster structure in the field of veterinary pharmacy of Ukraine have been substantiated. Implementation of the research results will improve the economic efficiency of the industry and the competitiveness of the manufacturer. In cluster structures of veterinary pharmacy in Ukraine, it is advisable to unite all the entities involved in the production of veterinary products, with the mandatory involvement of research institutes, testing centers, educational institutions, as well as state authorities. The application of innovative approaches based on the results of scientific research would help to bring domestic production of veterinary medicines closer to the European level. Tabl.: 1. Figs.: 3.
