Abstract: The existence of a beef cattle breeding unit as a business unit in a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) indicates that there are issues around the livestock environment. This study aims to determine and describe the perceptions of farmers towards BUMDes beef cattle breeding units. The research was carried out from February to March 2023 in Patimpeng District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using survey methods and the unit of analysis is the farming community around the BUMDes beef cattle farming unit as manyas 25 people, consisting of Village Heads, BUMDes Management, and Breeders selected by Purposive Random Sampling. The results showed that the farmer's perception of BUMDes beef cattle breeding units in Patimpeng District, Bone Regency was in the good category.
