Abstract:
This study aims to determine the pattern of profit-sharing partnerships carried out by universities (Hasanuddin University) with beef cattle breeders in Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency. This research was conducted in October-November 2019. The type of research is descriptive. The data sources are primary data and secondary data. The types of data are quantitative data and qualitative data. The data analysis used descriptive analysis to describe the implementation of the profit-sharing partnership system between universities and beef cattle farming businesses as well as the benefits obtained by universities with profit-sharing partnerships with beef cattle farming businesses. Based on the results of research in Tanete Riaja District, Barru Regency, it shows that the implementation of profit sharing partnerships between Hasanuddin University and beef cattle business, has a pattern of breeding relationships starting from MBC Unhas handed over to groups and then given to farmers who want to partner with Unhas. The benefits obtained by Higher Education (Hasanuddin University) in implementing profit-sharing partnerships with farmers are as a center for teaching industry, research and development center for science and technology and community service.
