Food Aid: Help for Hungry Nations

Abstract: Many countries able to provide their populations with adequate food and nutrition assist needy countries by distributing either surplus commodities or currency and credit to purchase these foods. About 20 percent of the food imported by the neediest countries is provided on noncommercial terms from over 20 countries.
