Abstract:
Excerpt from the report: A recent study was conducted in the Carolinas to determine how extensive are the needs for child care, what types of services are available and used, and what approaches are applicable in rural areas to provide high-quality child-care services. Results of the study were based on a survey of 525 mothers of children under 12 years of age in 12 rural communities in North and South Carolina.
