Abstract:
This editorial by the journal's Editor in Chief sets out the purpose of the Academic Journal of Law and Governance and then presents, first, the Romanian Academic Society of Administrative Sciences - its founding by the team of the research project "The Right to a Good Administration and its Impact on Public Administration Procedures", its legal personality obtained in March 2008, and its general and specific objectives - and, second, the scientific results obtained in public law and administrative sciences, reviewed through the eight annual conferences organised between 2008 and 2015 together with the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration and the Romanian Institute of Public Law and Administrative Sciences, with the theme, mottos and scientific sections of each edition.
