Impact of COVID-19 on socio-economic activity of regions

Abstract: The article analyzes the impact of the COVID–19 virus on social and economic processes. Its influence on the world, Russian economy and regional economy of the Russian Federation is analyzed. Measures of state support for social and economic spheres are described. The characteristic of losses from the pandemic is given in relation to the sectors of the economy. The conclusion is made about the significant role of regional authorities in the fight against the consequences of coronavirus.
