Abstract:
The paper examines a hybrid venture capital fundraising model that switches between cold outreach and warm, graph–based connection search, driven by CRM response data. The aim of the study is to develop and evaluate the routing of investor communications, in which the absence of an investor response after a series of emails prompts a search for a warm introduction through portfolio founders, co–investors, or direct connectors. The relevance of the work derives from contracting venture liquidity, rising demands on signal quality, and the limitations of applying cold outreach and warm referrals in isolation. The scientific novelty consists of treating the behavioral status of an investor as an algorithmic trigger for channel switching. Findings indicate that investor filtering, multi step email sequences, and the integration of social capital raise engagement, reduce the risk of base burnout, and convert communications into qualified negotiations. The article addresses researchers in venture financing, startup founders, operators of fundraising platforms, and specialists in investor communications.
