Model of quality management in the manufacture of aircraft engines

A. V. Budantsev () and S. A. Masyutin ()

Entrepreneur’s Guide, issue 39

Abstract: The article describes the current state of the aviation engine industry; its significance is justified both for the domestic industry and for the Russian economy as a whole. The possible ways to develop this industry are determined on the basis of using innovative management approaches. It is shown that the industry development is impossible without improving the quality of created and produced aircraft engines. A model of managing the quality of business processes of engine manufacturing enterprises is proposed. It consists of two main modules that determine the functioning of various information systems and a single data warehouse to support decision making within the framework of a unified system of enterprise quality management. A distinctive feature of this model is the possibility of developing solutions to choose the further usage of advanced technologies described in the European BREF reference books and the domestic reference books of the best available technologies.
