Abstract: The article describes the essence of the innovation potential of the enterprise, identifies its main components. For the evaluation and selection of directions for the development of innovation potential, it is proposed to use the method of informal (expert) system analysis. The technique of forming a group of analytical experts is presented and the application of their assessments to select directions for the development of innovative potential is shown. The technique of in-depth predictive F-SWOT analysis is presented. The example shows approbation of the developed methodological approach to the development of the innovative potential ofan enterprise.
