Abstract: The effective functioning of the country’s rail transport plays a crucial role in creating the conditions for modernization, transition to innovative development and sustainable growth of the national economy, helps create the conditions for leadership in the global economic system. The competitiveness of any company depends on the nature and quality of the implementation of these recent advances on the scientific and technical progress. Innovations allow firms to operate in markets that are not yet occupied and are not generated by other companies. Innovative competitive advantage to create a custom product, works (services) and management decision. In this paper, conditional on the data is considered the economic effect the introduction of the innovative project at JSC «Russian Railways».
