Abstract:
The article considers the main stages of formation and development of the state regional policy in the independent Ukraine, taking into account the European experience. The research includes the most important tasks of the regional policy, the prerequisites for its formation in Ukraine, legislative and institutional basis as well as various instruments of realization.
