Abstract: The switch to the euro currency implies major changes in the actual financial software, that is why this process has to be well prepared not only by the IT industry, but also by each enterprise. This article focuses on the impact of the euro on the existing business information systems and describes the projects that has to be started by enterprises in order to identify in detail the changes that have to be made in the different information systems and the responsibility of each employee in this project.
