Abstract: The digitization of organizational processes plays a significant role in shaping the landscape of organizational management. Managers frequently find themselves at the intersection of operational decision-making, where the extent and impact of digitization within their organizations become essential. In this article. we analyze the insights obtained from semi-structured interviews conducted with decision-makers representing 50 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in the north-eastern region of Romania. Our analysis sheds light on the multifaceted relationship between digitalization, operational management and human resource within the context of SMEs.
