Effect of Employee Engagement on Organisational Commitment

Abstract: In this course of research, objective is to find out the effect of employees engagement on organizational commitment in Indian public sector organization. The study was carried out on 30 employees of a leading public sector bank. A questionnaire was prepared on 5 likert scale and contains mainly three sets .Each sets contained defined number of questions on Job satisfaction, Job involvement and organisational commitment. The study also presents the practical implication for the organization that, what they should follow in-order to harness the alluring effect of organizational commitment in their organization. It has been found that employee engagement (Job Satisfaction and Job Involvement) has significant correlation with the organizational commitment.
