Abstract:
The paper outlines the changes in the investments’ structure of credit institutions in our country lately, as a consequence of the international financial crisis, and guidelines for investment in debt and equity capital for banking institutions. It found, however, aspects of the effects of bank involvement in securities activities, and potential conflicts of interest resulting from such activity.
