Abstract: Traditional events coincided with the International Day of Intellectual Property (April 26) were held in April 2016 in Russia.These included forums, scientific and practical conferences and seminars in Moscow, St.Petersburg and other regions of the country. The review covers the 7th International Forum "Innovative Development through the Intellectual Property Market", held on April 8 at the Plekhanov Russian Economic University, and the Rospatent Scientific and Practical Conference “Intellectual Property - Innovation Potential Russia ", which was held on April 22.
