Abstract: Introduction. The publication provides a description of the methodology for forming the Effectiveness of Core Shared Research Facilities and Large-Scale Research Facilities Rating, which is based on a system of indicators that characterize the performance of these centers. Methods. The rating methodology is based on a comprehensive evaluation of indicators that characterize the volume of work completed, publication and patent activity, personnel potential, and equipment availability. The ranking is calculated within scientific fields, considering the specialization of the CSRF and LSRF. Results and Discussion. Analyzing the rating results of CSRF and LSRF will allow for the formation of a ranked list based on performance, as well as their distribution by performance categories. Conclusion. This distribution can be utilized for both the selection of grant support candidates and for evaluating the effectiveness of already implemented support measures for CSRF and LSRF.
