Abstract:
The article overviews a number of methodological issues related to elaboration of analytical goods’ classifications for official export policy purposes and research activities. The article also reveals specifics of such analytical categories as “non-energy goods”, “non-primary goods”, “industrial products with high processing levels”. New goods’ classification by stages of processing is presented with its basic characteristics and respective calculations of exports dynamics and structure. The current decade witnessed the tendency for declining exports share of raw materials opposed by the trend for increasing share of upper processing stages products, i.a. high-tech goods. Recommendations are made regarding further use of proposed new analytical instrument for practical and scientific purposes.
