Abstract:
The study deals with the issue of Russia’s commodity-oriented exports. The dynamics, commodity and geographical structure of Russia’s exports of the beginning of XX and XXI centuries is analyzed in the study. The authors suggest the following methods that allow to recalculate the indicators of 1914 - 2014: a) by the gold content of rouble; b) by the consumer price index. With the second method estimates the authors have concluded that the commodity and geographical structure of exports slightly changed for one hundred years, since the share of high-tech exports remains rather low and the share of mineral resources has been constantly growing.
Keywords: Export commodity groups; Russia’s exports; export diversification; methods of temporary indicators recalculation; consumer price index; national economy; Russia’s GDP. (search for similar items in EconPapers)
