Abstract: The author analyses positions of the USA and Russia in modern international economic relations. The article considers role and place of both countries in the international trade and on the world determine the distinctions in these positions. An article pays special attention to international economic globalization, its factors and consequences, both positive and negative. Besides the author analyses regional aspects of international trade and investment activity of the USA and Russia.
