Abstract:
Mutual trade in environmental goods is one of the key forms of the EAEU-EU economic cooperation in the environmental field. The main drivers of the environmental goods trade are: reciprocal commitment to the green economy development, i.e. in terms of resource-efficiency; abundance of natural resources and environmental resources as a whole; necessity of common approaches to tackling environmental problems; greater involvement in global economy. Thus, trade in environmental goods might be a promising direction of the EAEU-EU economic agenda stimulating green economy cooperation between the partners.
