Export Russian software in the world market: the analysis of data for 2015-2017 and further prospects

Abstract: By the end of 2016 and 2017 one can say about the growth of the sales of Russian software companies – not only abroad, but also in the domestic market of Russia. The volume of software exports and services of software development of the Russian companies increased in 2016 by 12% and reached $7.5 billion, and according to the forecast for 2017 – reached $8.6 billion. The foreign sales of the Russian software companies in 2016 amounted to 2.3% of the total exports of the Russian Federation. 12% of the companies, the sales of which were limited before by Russia and CIS, plan to enter the markets of distant foreign countries in 2017, and 14% – in 2018.
