Using of e-commerce tools in international competitive bidding in the 21st century

Abstract: In the article, the authors consider the Internet as a market for procurement transactions; show the conditions necessary for the introduction of e-commerce into the Russian commodity markets; analyze various models of procurement through the Internet; identify the advantages of e-commerce over traditional commerce, and also consider examples of the use of national e- procurement systems in projects financed by the World Bank, and indicators in the field of e-procurement in Italy in view of “The new procurement framework document”.
