Abstract: The article analyzes the current state of Russian exports of non-primary and non-energy goods and the changes in trade over the past years for four product groups: metals and metal items; machinery, equipment and vehicles; chemical products; food products and agricultural raw materials. Promising markets and the potential for expanding exports of these products are examined. The problems that hinder the growth of exports are considered. It is noted that the establishment and development of already existing, high-tech and high value-added industries should remain a priority.

Keywords: Non-primary and non-energy exports; world market; high value-added industries; high-tech production; competitiveness of domestic goods. (search for similar items in EconPapers)
