Abstract:
The Russian Federation is the largest producer and exporter of oil and gas in the world and plays a strategic role in China’s energy imports. In the context of new changes in the international energy strategy and the complex and ever-evolving modalities of China’s international cooperation, this is a strategic problem that needs to be urgently addressed in order to update the path of Chinese-Russian energy cooperation and promote it to achieve high-quality development. Acceleration of the Belt and Road integration of with the Eurasian Economic Union in science terms requires implementation of Chinese-Russian energy projects and joint efforts to build and maintain mutually beneficial cooperation, focus on energy cooperation strategy in the North Sea, explore new ways and areas for bilateral energy cooperation.
