Global competitiveness and logistics position in international rankings

Abstract:
The article examines the level of logistics costs in the GDP of different countries. The analysis of World Bank’s and the World Economic Forum ratings - global competitiveness index (GCI), doing business index (DB) and logistics performance index (LPI) - is made. The position of Russia in international rankings and its changes in them are considered; the problems are identified. The influence of the government and logistics efficiency on the level of country’s competitiveness is defined.
