Abstract: The article analyzes the main factors influencing the development of sunflower oil exports, as well as the activities of the market players (companies) specializing in the production of vegetable oils. One of the factors constraining the presence of foreign firms in the domestic market is the historically developed specialization of Russian companies in the sunflower oil production. Concentration and deep diversification of production are the factors that ensure sustainability of domestic firms. Given the strong external demand for sunflower oil, the export activities of the companies also provide the necessary stability.
