Abstract: The indicators of exports and imports converted into live weight (raw weight) are analyzed to identify trends in foreign trade of fish and fish products in 2015-2018. Showing the volumes of exports and imports in raw weight within the CN FEA of the Eurasian Economic Union allowed to characterize the overall dynamics of exports and imports against the catches of water bioresources in the Russian Federation, to determine consistently leading export and import commodities, to identify the most popular trade types of water bioresources inside the most capacious commodities, to estimate the ratio of products with different processing depths in exports and imports. One of the first attempts to compare exports and imports of fish and fish products by nutritional value (protein and fat content) was implemented. It was found, in particular, that in 2015-2018 the nutritional value of exported products from hydrobionts was slightly lower than similar indicators of the nutritional value of imported products.
