Abstract:
The article presents the main features of nuclear power industry influencing the development and growth of international market for nuclear power plant construction. The author considers the largest companies on the market - holders of nuclear technologies. In particular, the role of Russia in the market represented by the state-owned corporation ROSATOM is considered. For a broader understanding, statistics on international trade in nuclear equipment are analyzed. The data allow to identify the leading suppliers of nuclear power plant equipment and countries where nuclear power plants are built.
