Five years of EAEU: trade results

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of mutual trade between the Eurasian Economic Union member states during the integration process. The trade trends and factors influencing multilateral trade cooperation within the EAEU and the most important changes in the commodity structure of the mutual trade of its members are examined in detail. The study concludes that the impact of EAEU integration on the commodity structure of mutual trade is highly positive. In particular, during the integration process within the framework of the Customs Union-CESEAEU, the share of mineral products in total mutual exports decreased by one third; the share of food products and agricultural raw materials rose significantly; an increasing share of machinery, equipment and vehicles is outlined.
