Abstract:
The article describes a proposed methodical approach to a comprehensive assessment of the socio-economic performance of Russia's regions using integral indices. The study identifies the subjects of the Russian Federation mostly affected by the current global economic crisis and shows changes in their performance in the first half of 2020. The analysis of the structure of integral assessments links various aspects of regional development with Russia's national goals and reveals the composition of the factors that have had a negative impact on the region's resilience to the crisis, as well as the factors intended to become a mainstay for overcoming it
