Abstract: The article examines the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on international trade in services. The impact of the pandemic, in particular the measures to combat it, on the volume of trade in services and its structure is noted. Special attention is drawn to the pandemic’s effects on the entire world economy and international trade, with the trade in services having been hit the hardest, especially the industries where direct contact between the service provider and the consumer is required. Another impact of the pandemic is the spread of online services. A quarterly monitoring of the recovery of international trade in services was carried out. It is underlined that creating conditions to facilitate trade in services is necessary for the recovery of the world economy. Vaccination of the population against coronavirus that started in January 2021 is the major factor influencing the recovery of international trade in services, as well as the world economy.
