Abstract:
The article examines the role of small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian economy and the creation of conditions for their growth. Statistics on SMEs in Russia in recent years are given; the impact of the pandemic on the number of enterprises and employment, the volume of SME exports is analyzed. The issues of e-commerce are studied. It is noted that during the pandemic the online exports of Russian products developed intensively, and new opportunities appear for exporters on electronic platforms. Modern tools for supporting export of small and medium-sized businesses are studied, and it is underlined that the key trend in supporting exporters in recent years is online tools and digital services.
