Abstract:
The study assesses the impact of the spread of coronavirus infection on the foreign trade activities of the regions of the Russian Federation. The study analyzed Russia’s foreign trade activities, examining export and import changes in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection for the period from 2019 to 2021. Based on the analysis, and in particular the comparison of data for Q1 2021 and Q1 2019, it is revealed that foreign trade participants have managed to adapt to the new pandemic conditions, with the growth pace of foreign trade turnover returning to the trade growth rates of 2019.
