Prospects for Economic Cooperation between EAEU and ECOWAS

Abstract:
At present there is evidence of the expansion of trade and economic relations between different economic integration groupings located on the same continent and on different continents resulting in intensification of international trade. Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and African countries has great potential. In the present circumstances, the EAEU countries face the challenge of deepening cooperation with African countries and creating the conditions for achieving a higher level of economic cooperation. The article looks at the economic benefits of building and enhancing cooperation between the EAEU and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
