Abstract:
The article deals with the urgent task of developing the professional competencies of specialists responsible for achieving the export potential of the federal subjects of Russia, which is one of the key conditions for the successful implementation of the strategic objective to develop non-resource non-energy exports of the Russian Federation. The study analyzes professional development programs for training specialists in international trade activities, on the basis of which a methodology for conducting market research and verifying targeted educational programs of additional professional education (advanced training) in the field under study was developed. The authors suggest ways to systematically address the issue of developing comprehensive export competencies of specialists of relevant regional ministries and departments.
