Abstract:
The article examines the main stages of the emergence and development of business education in the global economy, analyzes the theoretical foundations of this area of higher administrative personnel training. Particular attention is paid to expanding business education practices in Russia. Training in DBA programs - “Doctor of Business Administration” marked a new stage of business education. Ensuring close alignment of scientific research with practical experience is an important feature of the program. The article elaborates on the areas of DBA programs and presents comparative analysis with PhD programs. One of the research avenues is the analysis of the Doctor of Business Administration program in Russia. The pioneering role of the RANEPA Graduate School of Corporate Governance in the development and implementation of the program in the Russian business education system is noted.
