Abstract: The relevance of the study of Russia’s foreign energy policy is an important political and economic task. The article considers and analyzes the current energy trade of Russia with foreign countries in current conditions. The role of the Western Balkan countries as transit countries of energy resources is highlighted. Possible areas of cooperation are demonstrated, taking into account the sharpening of sanctions and the changing world order. The Russian infrastructure projects in the countries of the Western Balkans are demonstrated.
