Abstract: The article analyzes the trade and economic cooperation between Russia and the Republic of India at the present stage. Russia and India are important economic partners with significant potential for developing and strengthening cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis. The paper studies the changes in trade turnover and its commodity structure, identifies the main problems hindering the development of trade cooperation between the countries, and considers ways to overcome them to further strengthen the partnership, and assesses the prospects for their cooperation based on the analysis of investment projects.
