Abstract:
Russia and Egypt are strategic partners whose cooperation has been developing for many years and has had a different nature. Being States with different historical and cultural backgrounds, they eventually managed to find common ground and establish relations in which the interests of each country could be met as effectively as possible. Egypt did not join the anti-Russian sanctions of the West, therefore resulting in expansion of Russian–Egyptian business cooperation in 2022- 2023, facilitated, among other things, by the implementation of projects within the framework of joint associations. Overall, with the current geopolitical situation, there are significant prospects for deepening and development of cooperation between Russia and Egypt. In the article, the authors consider in detail the stages of the gradual establishment of Russian-Egyptian relations and their lessons, the expansion of collaborative domains, as well as the potential for their further development.
