Abstract:
The article analyzes the current state and prospects for Russia’s mineral fertilizer industry under international sanctions amid the ongoing Ukraine conflict. The author examines the existing overseas infrastructure projects of domestic companies that allow them to expand into the Latin American and Caribbean market. The peculiarities of the Russian market are also considered. Special attention is paid to Brazil’s role for Russian exports of mineral fertilizers, since the share of Russia in its imports is extremely high. In conclusion, the author suggests the ways that could facilitate the development of Russia’s mineral fertilizer industry and have a positive impact on the domestic rural industries
