Abstract:
In view of the ongoing sanctions pressure on Russia and the assumption of their persistence in the long run, it is crucial to evaluate Russia’s export potential and its growth prospects in particular. One the tools that could stimulate exports is the creation of a free trade zone. This study aims to analyze the effects of free trade agreements and the potential outcomes of concluding such agreements with Russia’s key trade partners at the present stage. Due to the lack of data, Russian trade figures until 2022 were used for the analysis.
