Abstract:
The Russian economy has faced serious challenges at the beginning of the 21st century, including the need to implement an effective scientific and technological policy to ensure national technological sovereignty and sustainable economic development. This article examines China’s experience in implementing and supporting the high-tech industry. Special attention is paid to the regulatory framework for the development of high technologies; the main tools and approaches to the implementation of relevant policies are highlighted and structured; some examples of measures to support the high-tech industry are given. China is a world leader in many indicators of technological development, so studying its experience seems appropriate and can be used to enhance the scientific and technological development of Russia.
