Abstract:
The article considers the key factors shaping the patterns and trends in the global medical products market in the early 2020s. Since 2020 decent changes have been taking place in the global geopolitics, the global economy and the international trade. The geopolitical fragmentation is striving forward, the world economy has been suffering from the pandemic consequences and the sanctions shocks, and the number of trade barriers and restrictions is growing. The article reveals the main bottlenecks that negatively affect the medical products trade despite the increased turnover of these products.
