Abstract:
The article analyzes the comparative advantages of Uzbekistan and evaluates its export technology complexity. Product and market concentration indexes are used to assess the level of Uzbekistan’s export diversification. By applying the Product Space approach and referencing the Export Potential Map of the International Trade Center, the opportunities for improving diversification of the commodity structure and geography of Uzbekistan’s exports are identified. Special attention is paid to uncovering the untapped export potential of specific commodity groups to particular countries.
