Venezuela’s Investment Cooperation with Foreign Countries in a Changing Geopolitical Environment

Abstract: The article examines the state of Venezuela’s investment climate under the harsh sanction pressure from the United States and other Western countries. It presents the government’s legislative initiatives in the field of foreign investments and highlights promising sectors of the Venezuelan economy for foreign investors. The article outlines the country’s priorities in international investment cooperation and the process of shifting focus towards expanding cooperation with friendly countries. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of key Russian-Venezuelan joint projects and prospects for bilateral cooperation in this area.
