Management of communal waste services

Abstract: Environmental problems are spread in great variety of areas. Their majority however is located in urban area, due to industrial production, transportation, concentration of people and their living space. We are aiming to address two of this one - how to manage urban services and how to manage the wastes generated by households, and other sources with the same waste production. In this paper, we will present some of the current solutions in Europe's main cities, but also proposals for improving the regulations and increasing the effectiveness of their implementation.
