Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the effect that the institutional investors-pension funds, insurance companies and investment funds have on the capital markets in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Sweden for the period 2010-2022. The analysis was conducted in E-Views using the Unit Root Stationarity Test, Hausman test and panel regression analysis. The results showed that investment funds are statistically significant variable with positive impact on the capital markets in these countries
